My food sharing is going to be a bit different for the next few weeks as I am attempting to bake whatever theme the Great British Bake Off is every week. This week I started with biscuits (or as I still call them.. cookies)! I have attempted these lovely red velvet cookies I found on BBC Good food bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/red... , but I have to admit they look nothing like the picture..mainly because they turned out brown instead of red!! They do taste very nice though, so I can't complain. I think they may be slightly over-baked.. so not sure how Prue and Paul would judge me in the bake off tent, but my husband likes them none the less!
Next week is a real challenge.. it's bread week!
What is everyone else cooking or eating this week? Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Hi Jerry! Thanks so much for always being so complimentary! The slow cooker casserole was a real treat, it turned out very well! Your flapjacks look amazing, I bet they were delicious! What a great time of the year to be cooking with apples Can't wait to see what you bake next! Have a great weekend
Sweet potatoes filled with seafood cocktail and chicken in white sauce along with sweet potatoes and mixed veg and also sweet potatoes and beef stew along with mixed veg which I cooked myself this week.
Those look so naughty but so yummy Sadie! Thank goodness most of us don't have to face Prue and Paul in the bake-off tent. But it's having a try that counts, and we can decide for ourselves how many points to award ourselves for our efforts. And if others enjoy eating the fruits of your labour, it has to be 10 out of 10! 🤣
