I have just received notification that I will be required to resit the first exam of the Diploma in Wills and Probate on line at home .
It has come as a shock but this will on one have prevent the anxiety of sitting the exam in Birmingham and also as I will be typing the answers, the replies will be legible .
I wonder what is the opinion of others with this ?

Hi Roukaya, This sounds like a good opportunity for you to give your best without the nervousness of attending in person. I'm sure there will still be some nerves, but less, I'd think. And as you say, if you are able to type your exam answers, so long as you are well prepared, you won't have to worry about legibility, only typos!
It must feel good to know that the end is in sight now, and you have only to focus on what matters and not be distracted by any other factors which could affect your performance in the exam. Wishing you all the best for a successful outcome this timeππ!
On one have sitting the exam on line at home will negate nerves and anxiety but on the other it us the mechanics and the lay out of the questions as the case scenarios are lengthy.
I will be ringing the exam provider for further explanation.
Also I have started to go swimming as a distraction as I seem to suffer from highs and lows .
Yes Roukaya, a good idea to find out about any aspect you aren't sure of ahead of time. That will also help allay your nerves. Sometimes it's possible to sit a trial exam online, but maybe in this instance there hasn't been any time to prepare practice material. But it might be worth asking! Best wishes and I hope you have a good day. π
I think without the stress and anxiety of rushing about to the exam venue, being in your own home, relaxed and composed in familiar surroundings will be good for you. I think when you go to an exam venue and meet up with all the other students, who are equally anxious, it makes you worse. You will be able to take it in your stride at home, where you feel comfortable. ππΊπ
Iβm sure they will give you preparation time and support. Swimming is a great outlet, good for both physical and mental wellbeing. Iβm glad you like the picture. I am wishing you all the best for your exam. ππΈπΊ
ππ Oh dear! It sounds like good news for you then! I have heard that people marking exams do look negatively on papers with writing that is difficult to read! π€π» it helps! Not that you will need it this time π xx
Will probably help you. make sure your phone is off and you have enough to drink before you start, so you don't get disturbed during the test, as it takes time to resettle.
Good luck with it. I'm rooting for you to pass this time!
Hi, I think this is a much better option than attending in person. You will be safe from possible infection and in your familiar space plus travelling is pretty awful. Just take your time and make sure you understand the questions and you will be fine. Turn off all forms of distraction first and make sure your mobile and landline phones are switched off. Best of luck!
