May have forgotten to take prednisone

hello I use a daily meds box and take my daily pred (12.5) at 07.00. Have just opened my box to take my BP tablets and my 3 pred are still there !! I could swear I took them but am under bit of stress at moment so may well have done something as daft as not take them😂 I do carry an extra days supply when I’m away just in case so it may be those ..

Wondering if I should take or just leave and take tomorrows dose as normal any advice gratefully received thank you K

I have usually taken them, when this happens to me. I usually have a really good day, and no harm done.

I’d have suggested taking half a dose - but too late now -and am I’m in different time zone only just seen!

As SheffieldJane says just take your dose again. It is much beeter to take extra than to not take them. When I forgot to take my pred I swore it would never happen again, of vourse it did!!

Don’t worry, most of us have done it. When you have suffered because of it you tend to remember the next time! Mind you I didn’t!!

I would take them - or at least, as we suggested to someone yesterday, take at least half and go back to the normal dose tomorrow.

Don't worry about it, everyone has done it at some point!

I’d take them. Happened to me a few times. Don’t suffer from senior moments but do have intellectual interludes!

me too!Rsn out of pred and will miss at least two nights of 5mg. Should I worry?

Get to a pharmacy and ask if they can provide a few tablets as emergency cover. I am on 7mg and forgot to pack them when I went away for a couple of days. The guy I spoke to felt even that was a bit risky and provided an emergency few doses.
