Appeal from PMRpro to the rest of you for help

For the last 2 weeks I have been unable to edit my posts or replies. I reported it 10 days ago and was assured that the bug would be attended to "as a priority". It is still there.

Over the weekend the links from email notifications have not been working - it has taken several attempts to get to a reply or post almost every time. Last night I got a message from someone that the links people use in replies to references or other posts are not working a lot of the time.

I have already written this once - and it wouldn't post, it timed out with a 504 error message.

Please can anyone experiencing any of these problems report it to HU using the Report option which is at the bottom of every post or reply. If there are enough, HU can't ignore it.

They seem to be coming up twice now as well!!!

Seems to take me ages to log on to Healthunlock.... clearly something is up the creek

Kept getting 504 error message over weekend- thought it was because at son’s and on iPad - so didn’t report it - but will if it continues today.

Yes, I have had the same problem, I will do as you ask 😀

That explains why everything is timing out and not loading. I have had this issue all weekend.

How do you report it? Or should I know that already?

At the bottom of every post or reply there is a line: blue box saying Reply, box with a heart for likes, the word Report in blue and on your own comments More which should allow you to Edit or Delete (currently also not working for Edit). Click on Report and a box appear to write your complaint in.

Most seems to be OK now but occasionally it is slipping. I got hold of the Admins for the charity to add their weight.

I know that there are some tweaks being done. I have been asked for my views on improvements for the site, by someone doing a project. I checked with Fran and she knows about this.

Sometimes posts won’t open for me. I thought it was my ancient iPad.

I hate that for you!!!

I haven't been posting so don't know..but just wanted to say what a pain!! we NEED your posts. OKAY now I am EDITING this and will see what happens.

I've not personally been aware of any problems, until yesterday when the site kept timing out. The editing thing was interesting. If you wanted to correct a spelling, say delete a wrong letter, the edit link stayed greyed out unless you also toggled over another letter and then it seemed to work. Has been like that for quite a long time, at least with my device and browser.

Yes I reported it 10 days ago and it had been a problem for some days before that. Now it does what you describe but I was doing the correction and that involved changing letters as it was often a typo but the box didn't change colour, it just sat there and did nothing,

How frustrating!! Will certainly report if I have problems. Seems to have been ok for me- maybe because I’m not sending so many replies. X
