Best Christmas wishes to you. Prezzy pile and flowers look lovely. Just finished Christmas dinner ate too much this year, and even risked a couple of spuds and gravy. Many thanks for you assistance this year and I hope this year coming is better for you than this one. Best wishes Jenny.

Not a pressy pile - local Christmas goodies ;) All very carby ...

Look lovely, why are so many scrummy foods so carby…

Put on 3lb yesterday, hoping it’s mostly fluid retention as gravy was rather salty, that might be wishful thinking though!

Wow! The Amaryllis is amazing. Mine died when it was 12 ins high (perhaps due to the underfloor heating). My daughter has one about the same height as yours.

I don't actually like the flower and it knew (flowers always do)!😉

All the very best to you in 2022. You will probably be able to travel a little now - once these dratted mutants stop pestering us.😕

It is actually a cut one from the flower shop - I used to have them occasionally in the UK but not often. Daughters sent them - too expensive to send a parcel!

You are a Pro of more than PMR! How I wish that was all I had, for which you have given wise advice. Thanks to you, I was able to get the diagnosis of PAD before it got worse. And solved many health issues through the years, again thanks to you. Therefore, I can still walk the dog and hope that you will never retire from this base of communication.

Merry Christmas.Very quiet here in Australia.Lots of people can't see loved ones because PCR testing stations are overrun and antigen tests are non existent. This Omicron variant is spreading quite fast so testing is imperative.I just stayed at home .My carer called in .I don't want to use a taxi to go anywhere .I miss my husband very much who passed away last year but it will get better in time.I am down to 10mg .Doing one / month.I have been doing alternate days for quite a while because It's almost like I have an allergic reaction when I take it.I wish there was a way to get off Prednisolone safely but there isn't.I still get all sorts of side effects but I know they don't last so I rest up and take care of myself.Naturally I listen to my body and call the Dr if things persist particularly chest pain.Lots of love everyone.

Take care of yourselves.

Wishing you PMRpro a very Merry Christmas and a Guid New Year at the bells. Where would we have all been without you over the last year. I don’t often contribute but I do come onto the site to check out the latest. I’m a wee bit down at the mo as having to go back up to 5mgs from 3.5mgs as feeling the pains again in my shoulders and thighs …… I know not to get too down as I’ll soon try again to reduce……,.. 5 years and counting.

Hope this coming year will be a good one for you. God bless your daughters for all their work during Covid. Antigen tests positive for a few family members today. Including OH. NoPCR tests available for two days. I wonder how accurate the Antigen tests are.
