im 25 an been told that i have endometriosis im having treatment im on second lot now im always getting hot sweats an in pain this treatment is meant to stop me having periods will see what happens next

How were you diagnosed ? have you had a laparoscopy and or a scan of some kind ?

If the treatment is progesterone it will stop your periods as such. However, you may still spot or bleed at times. It is not an effective form of contraception so be cautious because it can be dangerous to a developing fetus.

I was diagnosed a few years ago, nothing helped with the pain until i started having gonadatrophine treatment (injections) they really helped with the pain. I also had the contraceptive implant which helped a lot. Look into the merina coil, I didnt have it but my gynaecologist recommended it. Hope your pain is over soon!
