Haematocolpus

Hi Has anybody had or heard of a Haematocolpus in the uterus? It apparently is a blood mass, mine is 1.6cm and I am getting what I can only describe as period pains low down radiating into my legs and lower back area. I am post menopausal and last period was years ago. I am currently waiting to see the gynaecologist at the hospital but he is insisting the pain is not gynae but is coming from my many diverticula pockets!!!!!!!!!!! I do not agree as I have had flare ups before and this is def a period type pain.

I had a Heamatoma in my uterus before I had a Hysterectomy! Perhaps ask Gynae to investigate more

Thank you for replying. Can I ask a few questions.

Did you have pain before diagnoses?

If so was it like period pains?

I am assuming you were post menopausal?

Was the reason you had the Hysterectomy the Haematoma?

I had a swollen tummy n yes premenopausal n had very heavy bleeding and not just at period time ! It was embarrassing I would get to work n just flood !

Didn't really want a hysterectomy but was told would not stop if I didn't have it ..

Thank you. I am post menopausal and no bleeding so not sure why this is!! Just low period type pains.
