vitiman d3 an hy one had side effects with 40,000 once a week for 7 weeks?

afternoon 5 weeks ago i went dotors as my legs hurt feet arms i felt realy weak sleeping , ask dotor for a blood test she sasd blood results came back vitiman d3 leavel 22 and to take huxd3 40,00iu once aweek . i did the first week ok. second week . i started having a weired senation in my head like i was going to drop in to a deep sleep and could keep a wake plus my left arm started feeling realy achey at the top like my mussles hurt the third week felt paind in my breast now and then then forth week all the same symtoms but worse and the 5th week which is this week even worse more pain in breast and leaft arm and sleepinh more . so i dont know if its the vitiman d3 doing it that the doctor percribed for me hux d3 40,000 once aweek. iv have 2 more weeks to take 40,000 iu once aweek .i dare not take it incase im worse could it be side effects of the vitiman d3. i phoned doctors last week but they said that there fully booked and will ring me tomorrow night at 7pm .

Not sure if it's the vit D3 causing your issues but just wanted to share that about 8 yrs ago I had to take 100,000iu of Vit D3 in two 50,000iu doses per week for 8 wks in order to get my low Vit D levels up to healthy normals. I don't recall any negative symptoms while taking the mega doses during that time. If anything my overall health improved greatly - no more upper respiratory infections, colds or pleurisy issues. I still take 3000iu of D3 each day to maintain healthy levels. Hope you get answers and feel better soon.

thankyou for your reply ill wait to see what the doctor says tomorrow . iv took 40,000 for 5 weeks but i not take any more untill i speak to the doctor

I have been taking vitD3 4,000IU one a day for the last year and have not had any side effects. It's something you need to talk with your medical specialist as only they can give the advice you need.
