pressery ring

im feeling realy poorly the pressery ring slipped further back to wards the bowel and iv tryed to get the ring but i cant its slipped right back and its feels like its rubing on something hard i feel sick and iv got a bad ache down below and in lower stomach and palatations and head is banging . can the ring cause this i feel achey all over

I think maybe some feelings but not all. I have headaches at night and morning think its menopause and feel aches and tiredness dont sleep well at all. I dont know what pessary you have but try standing and bearing down a little might move pessary down a bit. You might be able to push it to correct position with your finger. I occasionally push mine back up to correct position when it comes too low l dont want a bigger one as worried it could damage side walls and most of the time it's very helpful. Certainly wouldn't be without it. If you continue to feel un well see your doctor.

its gone right back i cant get it iv try to get it byt i cant my doctor wont do anything she said i have to wait till my gynos back from leave which is the 25th i get to see her . and iv been like this 2 weeks all aready i have the whit round ring nhss one im so sore .

That doesn't seem fair. I think theres only one doctor at my surgery that does pessaries. There should be one at your surgery have you asked if any of the other doctors at your surgery fit pessaries? I think it should be part of their training to be able to fit and remove pessaries.

iv phone my doctors this morning and said i think i seen blood in my water i need to come up see some one face to face . doctor said the dotor that does it is on hoilday till end of month . i said noone will help me im inpain and so sore .and its blocking my boels . she said iv never done one before but i can try it might hurt you .i said it doesent mather cant be any worse than what im feeling now. took her a while to get it but she did and said it was rubing on your bone blocking your bowels and your sore i said i know so ill put the yes moisterizer in to night to help ease the soreness thankyou for replying to me . my op as come through for next month drading it

Glad they helped you. All doctors should be able to put pessaries in and take them out or at least several in any one surgery especially the silicone ring pessaries.Hope your op goes ok is it to do with prolaspe?

Try not to worry usually the worrying is worse than the procedure well that's easy to say l know but often true.

My husband can fit mine although it's hard to get it out. Sometimes l pull it out when it's too low and wash it and he puts it back in. You fold them to insert them lots of videos on you tube

If they won’t see you at surgery I think you should try A and E. It’s ridiculous with NHS treatment, any chance u could pay private they give appts out same week sometimes if you call secretaries of the gynae drs they are very helpful. I found the nhs pvc pessary very uncomfortable when they replaced it so resorted to going private to get a silicone one…sounds nuts and expensive but worth it for me to be able to get back to normal life again. i phoned this morning and said i think there was a pinkish tint in my urine so i got aporntment with the doctor at 4pm . and she said i cant see anythink that surgest any water infection but ill send it off to lab . i said my pressery ring is rubbing on something and hurts im so sore i not sleeping as im so sore . i said no one will help me to sort it . i told her 4 weeks iv ran round and tryed yous and phone 111 and a and e and gynos on holiday the only doctor here who will do it is off til end of the month . she said iv never done one before but ill try to get it out and put it back . i said yes she tryed for 15 mins and said its gone right in its rubbing on your bone and i said its blocking my bowels the doctor said yes it would she got it out washed it and put it back in and its heaven no pain but very sore were the ring rubed on the bone . its lovely to have no pain .ill put the yes moiserizer in to night after a nice bath frist. but once the sorness as gone . ill be ok now . as my op is next month . im dreading it .
