morning ladys i had a uti infection got some ciprofloxacin for it on the 22nd of july it was only a three day caurse 1 to be taken twice daily for 3 days. i felt alot better for a week then i realy felt 🤔poor yesterday .think i needed a 5 day caurse or seven .my head is hurting and i feel shakey and blood preasure as gone up . with it beening weekend no dotors open so i got to a chemist just before it closed as sataday it closes at 12.30 so i bought some cymallon 4g sachets and gramberry juice and drinking loads of water all day yesterday and today. my whole boy aches bad so ill ring doctor in the morning. as i need to get right as in 6 weeks my op date as come through. my left leg went from under my as i was walking down the stairs and i heared a crack . after 3 weeks of trying my self to get it right i decided to go dotors so they referred me for pyiso on it. so i was told to do pyiso at home from a sheet of papper but the bad ache it in my legs feet is getting unbarable . but the last leek theyve got worse . i woundered could it be the uti making my feet and legs hutting more or could it be the bladder prolase .or could it be the ciprofloxacin caused my legs to ache more. plus iv got my op soon . for a prolase bladder repir and hysterctomy i have a hihatus hernia and i feel lost is there anything i should know like is ok to take pjs in or night dress and how long are you in surgry for and do you stay in long .and someone said they had it done by keyhole . i dont know was best hopeing some one can shine some light on this put my mind at rest🤔

Sounds like you need a longer course of antibiotics as you think. 7 days would hopefully do the trick. See your gp or go to a nurse led walk in clinic as the nurses there can prescribe Antibiotics.

You could go to an sexual health clinic as they will swab you and test your urine and give drug treatment if necessary. You should be seen very quickly, Google your nearest ones in your area.

Keep drinking fluids.

Hospital stays depend on type of surgery.

Plan for 3 to 5 nights.

Take sanitary pads, wash stuff, wet wipes, magazines , comfortable night wear that you find easy to get on and off and comfy large pants , quite a few pairs of your oldest ones or new cheap packs from tesco.

Take comfortable shoes, sliders and comfortable slip on shoes. Take comfy dress and a comfy pair of pyjamas and t shirts.

Wish you all the very best

Forgot to say ,

Yes prolapse can make legs ache and strained ligaments can crack quite loudly.

Years of untreated prolapse, in my personal opinion, can possibly cause hip joint strain and ligaments def. Stretch post menopause due to low hormones etc.

You may need hip and back scans in case you have osteo arthritis.

Good luck with it all, hope you soon get your life quality back. Prolapses have destroyed mine!
