Hi

Am new to the pelvic pain support, am normally on the IBS group.

Following having a really bad flare up of IBS all the staining and pushing has resulting in me having nerve damage below and also a feeling of a ball in side my genital area.

The nerve pain from my behind goes in to my groin and to my front area which is painful at times.

Am becoming so low and down.

Hi l have prolaspe so thought l would just message you on the symptoms. Feeling like there is a tampon too near the entrance of your vagina. Dragging lump type feeling in your vagina. Sometimes difficulties have a bowel movement. Some ladies leak urine often at times with prolaspe especially coughing sneezing or being physical. Prolaspe can be of either uterus bladder and bowel or more than one of these together. Usually symptoms are worse with alot of being on your feet for long periods or jumping jogging skipping etc therefore can be worse in the evening.

It can get loads better with a ring pessary which stays in your vaginal. You have to get a suitable one for you. Also l take cosmocol sachet(mild Laxative)one a day with main meal to keep stools soft so easier to pass. Also dont stay on your feet too long. Do pelvic floor exercises. Other option surgery with not brilliant percentage of success long term. Message me anytime. Theres alot of us out there it's a hidden common problem

Hi I also have a prolapse .I saw my G.P 3 weeks ago and it was agreed that i could try a vaginal cream as i am post menapausal and so far this has helped alot. After 3/4 weeks use it has to be gradually reduced so am hoping this will not affect the outcome as the symptoms are so much less.

What type of cream did the doctor give you? Hormone?

Yes it is called Ovestin. Daily use for up to 4 weeks and then gradual reduction to a maintenance use of twice weekly. So far so good. It was recommended by a friend who is using it long term at the moment. Have been referred to hospital but wait is 4/6 months for appointment.

Thank you Every thing I read points me in the direct that I have a prolapse. Last year my GP said I had a small prolapse which didn’t cause any issue. However now that I have been suffering with serve constipation and straining since end of November this has resulted in me having nerve damage in my back passage and now also a prolapse.

I don’t want to go back to GP again as I been there twice in the last 3 weeks but they only examined me from behind.

I do however have an appointment with Gyne next week as GP referred me due to very heavy periods so am going to ask then if they can have a look.
