have you had a recent scan? How do they know they’re small? They might have grown. I’d ask for another scan if I was you.

Hi I have fibroidsa small 1 and large one so I have had them along with so much pain for 8 yrs I am really fed up and very much against what the doctors say fibroids do not cause pain they do we know, but not listened to because the medical books say otherwise.

My day to day activities are strongly effected by pain pelvic pain and all started when I got fibroids your not imagining it so many women have pelvic pain we have to go along with it and try different medications for the pain hot water bottles are my best friends 🧡

Yes all those tests plus more nothing came back wrong everything was normal .also I had an embolization to stop them growing stops the blood flow and they shrink and just die off but still the pelvic pain is there

Hello

Mine were that big they twisted my womb and I had dreadful pain. They also were against my bowel…. I had a horrific time for over two years…. Constantly going to the hospital… I was 54 and they grew….I also had endo and adhesions… one was the size of a grapefruit… they said they shrink but in my case they didn’t it got worse….

I was in surgery for four and a half hours and had a total hysterectomy…. And they had attached to my bowel, hence the pressure….

I would insist on surgery….

Kind regards xxxx

What a bad time your having so much more going on with god bless you yes the day of my hysterectomy the doctor gave me an alternative again , not finding nothing wrong with all those tests said we do not know we're your pelvic pains coming from and full hysterectomy might not solve the chronic pain in fact might be worst after I went home I take it you have had it and alls ok

hello

I can truly say that my pain resolved as soon as I had my surgery….

And I’m so grateful that I had it, one of mine was also partly calcified….

I felt I had no option but to have surgery as I could not of continued in so much pain as it was encroaching on every aspect of my life….

Kind regards

Hi I'm so glad for you the surgery and alls ok I have been thinking of going back to gyni and having the hysterectomy but very nervous it does take over your life so to speak I'm very antisocial do not want to go out or see people much because of the pain . How was you after the hysterectomy no other problems x

Apologies about the late reply…..

Absolutely no problems after surgery,,,, I knew they had gone straight away and no longer needed pain killers, I was consuming packets of pain killers on a daily basis…. also prescription drugs off the doctor and hospital….

I sometimes have a dull ache on my right side but it’s usually after sitting at my desk long periods at a time working…. I guess after complicated surgery like that,,,, I’m so very lucky

Surgery was hard to get over but the horrible fibroid pelvic pain went overnight so it was worth it… as I couldn’t of coped with the pain any longer….

Kind regards

And keep in touch

I hope this helps

.
