bladder prolase waiting on op

hello everyone i wish you all well im woundering how long it will be for a op for my bladder prolase on the nhss . iv only seen a gynaecoligist twice one for a pressary ring last novembe then agan for it to be cleaned iv started having pain in my pelvis comes on and then goes when it comes on it stops me in my tracks . i asked my dr if i can have something for it she said on the phone take paracetomol . and i think my ring is moved out of poistion. s dr said we dont do them you will have to try and get to see your gynocoligist which i have . tomorrow i dont know what the pain is . i hope she will pricribe something for it. i was woundering as anyone gone with the spire hospital in oadby in leicester for the op and how much round about would it cost xx

You could ask your gp for a referral to see a gynaecologist privately who also works for the NHS. That would cost you a consultation fee of around £100 then they would put you on the nhs list quicker. I think you will find to have the op private would cost well over £3,000 .

thankyou for your reply i found it very helpfull . i think ill ask gp for a private referral as no i cant a ford a private op if its going to cost
