I am looking for an Ontario doctor who specializes in pudendal nerve decompression surgery. We live in Ottawa and the closest I can find is a Dr. Mark Conway in Nashua, New Hampshire. I would prefer to stay in Canada, as traveling is quite difficult. This is for my husband who had a surgical "oops" 3 and a half years ago and has been unable to sit since this occurred. Any leads would be much appreciated.

Looking for a Canadian Dr. (Ontario) who specializes in pudendal Nerve decompression surgery
Has he gotten confirmed Pudental nerve entrapment if you don't mind me asking?
Yes. He is on Lyrica, Cymbalta, methadone and dilaidid. He has nerve blocks (RFAs) and. physiotherapy. The last two have been spotty due to Covid. Also treatment and drugs starting to lose effectiveness. He has been at this since beginning of 2018. The spent 2 months in hospital in the summer of 2018 trying to get the pain under control. He has had 2 mesh implants and a surgery to take out a lot of mesh that had just "clumped" up, for the loss of a better term. This was all to heip control incontinence brought on by a prostatecomy.
read reviews on Dr. Lemos, he has bad reputation with patients and other pain Doctors say to me he is too aggressive, which he is. Went in to him for bladder lift caused from PNE, in recovery was projectile vomiting, hallucinating, while nurse 12x tells husband to take me home, Dr order, husband refused. Found out not only bladder lift, rectum repair, untwist bladder and bowel, burnt off ulcers in bladder and hysterectomy as it was easier operation for him if he got uterus out of way. He had told me that bladder would be lifted and if I do well rectal repair in six months as I was 60 yrs old, seven other Doctors told me never would they do all that surgery at once, shocked at what he had done.
Follow up, told him what happened in recovery, started screaming at me and my Daughter saying that all Canadian Dr’s are stupid and I was in best hospital, should not complain. I should now be 100% out of pain couple weeks after surgery, no instructions for hysterectomy. I had reduced my pain meds as pain did go down some and was asking him to lower an opioid which he refused arguing I should be perfect now, my Daughter tried to speak to him and he reduced her to tears insulting both of us and gestured with finger and saying, that I was crazy.
When I went to my GP telling him what happened making sure all docs with him, he was stunned saying I could sue, but hey would wrap me up in lawyer fees for over 15yrs and do I need that stress. He found letter from Dr.Lemos to him and sent I to me via email, which Dr.Lemos stated I was a very nice lady but was a drug addict, avoiding work and mental, destroying my career as I had filed a complaint on his treatment. I had concerns at my follow up as I had been put under anaesthetic over 20x with no I’ll effect and why this time hallucinating and sick. Chief of Anesthesiology told me fentanyl in it. Since then bladder ulcers back, pain worse than ever, put out for treatment with no fentanyl, not sick once. I was just trying to find out from Dr.Lemos why I reacted so badly and did not need to be screamed at, abusive language towards myself and Daughter. Taken complaint all the way up, Mount Sinai doing nothing. Director meeting tells us they have had numerous issues, do not know if cultural thing but he has been spoken too. I had decompression surgery in the USA and was treated so well that Dr.would talk to me like a friend sharing his life. This man destroyed my reputation after thirty years building it as he now has on my record that I am mental. Been to pain Dr’s since that soon as I mention Dr.Lemos did surgery, they stop me and tell me how aggressive he is and have found problems he created during surgery, cutting too much. Please beware, first surgeon in my life I have had problems with, he can make your pain worse like me, I scream and cry not sleeping until exhausted from the pain.
Have you found a good pain management doctor? I am still looking for an experienced, knowledgeable doctor to help with PN. Thank you, Belinda
Sorry to hear about your husband's pain. I live in Toronto. have had pain for about 2 years. Been to many Drs in search of someone knowledgeable. Pelvic physio mentioned Dr Nuciello Lemos in Toronto at Mt Sinai hospital. Check him out.
read my comment about Dr. Lemos, he has bad reputation with patients and his peers. He made me worse physically, did not realize when pain was a little less, was because I nerve injected with lidocaine, when it wore off my pain is so bad I want to give up. M6 husband and Daughter have been effected as they know me to be strong woman reduced to tears from pain and screaming. This man has terrible bedside manner and does not care about you, tells you to “ suck it up” your being a baby, should not complain, will call you mental and his director said many complaints on him. Read his reviews. Do not refer as he hurts many people
