Hello all. After a year of things not being right down there. I went to the doctors last Wednesday. To be told I have a stage 2 prolapse uterus.

I have always done my pelvic exercises and can stop wee mid flow. I had my daughter by c section June 18. Lost 4 stone after having her then put it all back on ....working from home has not helped!!

Im on the weight loss road again but struggle with lower back pain massively. I cant stand for more than 5 mins and cant walk for long without it being agony. With a toddler- this is hard.

Im not intimate with my husband as it just feels like something is coming out and I can wee at any second.

Its painful when putting a tampon up...so much so that during rhe examination I cried. And I am not a cryer!!

The doctor said to lose weight and try exercises. To come back in 3 months....have I been fobbed off??

I think so, although I havent seen my specialist yet for my prolapse. But in my experience from having this for a month you have to keep hassling the doctors to get anything done. We all shouldn't have to live in so much pain. I reccomend seeing another doctor, but then from what others have said on here, sounds like it depends on how far the organ is protruding out. Hernia etc

Hi I've been managing a bladder prolapse for quite a few years with hrt and kegal 8 and vitimins but since coming off hrt had a relapse so it's not good asked my doctod for a referel which he did straight away then got a letter with a list of hospitals to go to for a consultation all the waiting lists were from 32 weeks to 52 weeks ..how can you wait that long if u feel your insides are falling out ..so I've paid to see a consultant at the spire they got me in within a week. So I recommend if u can afford it for the fee to see private then ask if u can go on nhs if the wait list is not too long ..in my area it ranges from 100 to 200 for a consultant I know money is tight for most but if u can I would do this ..I couldnt wait 52 weeks ..good luck to all xx
