HiSorry to hear you have been suffering for such a long time, I have recently been diagnosed with Cystocele prolapsed bladder, I am trying the Kegel8 machine , have you tried that at all ?

Thanks

Hi , like Zsazsa56 I had a Cystocele prolapsed bladder for many years and had a repair to put back in place September 2020. OP went well and hardly had any pain after 2 days. Still going well fingers crossed.

Hello my dear, there's been quite a bit of information about all kinds of prolapse posted on this forum. Use the magnifying glass Search button at the top of the page. You'll find lots of helpful advice on managing this very common problem. Info on exercises, pessaries, support garments, treatments etc. And lots of encouraging comments. You're not alone!

I too had a prolapsed bladder. Tried various meds, pelvic physio, etc. Nothing really helped. Had the surgery, stayed one night in hospital, home the next day. No issues at all.

Hi, I’ve got stage 4 , it happened 2 weeks ago , I’m still in shock to be honest , have to wait to see surgeon, how did they repair yours ? I had total hysterectomy 20 years ago I’m now 67 🌻

Well I can't tell you exactly how the surgeon did it lol but it was done through the vagina (no exterior incisions). He repositioned the bladder to where it was supposed to be and stitched it in place. As I said, I went home the next day. Very little pain. I am shocked and saddened to hear the original post (Sage4158) said that she had been suffering for 15 years!!

Hi, I was wandering how you got diagnosed? I’m sure I have it as I always get a dropping sensation but I had a cystoscopy and nothing was picked up

It was diagnosed from my eurologist. At initial stage I was not told anything they did cystoscopy. Because I was not able to empty my bladder completely and it was very slow . After cystoscopy couple of weeks I felt little better again started same symptoms . Always feeling that something is coming out and bulging. When it was severe then they gave me two options using pessary or surgery. I used pessary for five years it was okay for my daily activities . Now I'm not comfortable with pessary lot of discharge .

Ok thank you! So you were able to get it diagnosed through the cystoscopy?

Hi Sage4158, I’ve just been diagnosed with stage 4 my bladder fell out 2 weeks ago , just been referred to surgeon , it’s a nightmare, I find it really uncomfortable to sit but if I stand or cough or sneeze open bowels down it comes, the go said it was because I had 6 natural births , I’m now 66 , don’t know how long I’ll have to wait or what they will do to correct it, get very bloated and peeing all the time , hope you receive treatment soon🌻🌻

After consulting with my gp currently I'm doing exercise and using pessary occasionally. Feeling little better I am not going frequently for pee. Hope it will take me to a comfort zone. Is hard to survive like this way but no choice. Mainly exercise is helping me almost six months doing exercise three times a day . Pessary I am using for any hard activities like gardening which I love to do in summer time. After couple days I take it out. Trying to avoid surgery as there is no grantee. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Sage4158 sorry to hear about the terrible time health wise you are having. Mine has been only diagnosed in the last 2 years just before the plandemic. It has a major effect on ones daily life. Every one is not the same and I have learnt to own my symptoms and the effect it has on me and all one can do if so wish is to try. You said you have tried exercises and none is having the desired effect on you. Have you tried aqua aerobics. I started that a month a go and it’s wry good for my pain management and all over exercises as I find walking too much sometimes.

Some one on this forum suggested to me to try physiotherapy. You can self referral which I have done today. I will see how that goes.

Also I have not been so strict with my diet as I was before so I will be getting back on track.

Also laying on the floor with my feet elevated against a wall or my bed helps.

I have asked this but no response; is there anyone able to work with all these issues of prolapse/ fibroids?
