Vaginal prolapse pressing on bladder
When walking I constantly feel that I want to pass urine and then when trying to - I cannot. This can last from 9am to around 4 or 5pm. Anyone else have this problem and is there a cure?

If it really is a prolapse it is possibly a cystocele prolapse. Have a Gyn. or Proctologist check you out. enterocele where the small bowel prolapses into the vavina. and rectocele where the large bowel prolapses through the vaginal wall. I had surgery on all three at once. Just get them over, Usually the cystocele is held up by a mesh. Pessaries are difficult to work with and feel really intrusive.
Its early days yet for decisions re solutions and treatment. I have a vaginal Vault prolapse with cystocele (ie bladder prolapse). I have a pessary as I don't want surgery, and many others are the same. There are some good facebook groups who share info and support if you feel like a wide range of experiences and views. Not everyone shares the same symptoms. I seldom have a frequent urge all the time, sometimes it's quite the opposite and yet when I do urinate it frequently takes me ages! As a solution sometimes I raise one leg on a low stool that I keep handy in the bathroom and find that that seems to help by straightening things out! Keep researching and informing yourself and good luck with your GP appointment. Go armed with questions and don't be afraid to persist, if necessary, regarding your needs. My GP and practice nurse are pretty good and well informed, not all surgeries are. I wish you well. There is help and support out there.
Hi just seen you post. I have bladder and rectocele prolapse.Trying out pessary rings but they are falling out. Thinking about op in future.
How soon after diagnosis did you have op?
Are you glad you had op?
How are you now?
Thank you early days for
me diagnosis 3 weeks ago, but already these pessaries are not efficient, but I must say the dragging pain is eased a lot.
Thanks
Prolapse giving me constipation so trying Fybogel and Bisocodil for a month before seeing Consultant. Have a pessary fitted which is easing things slightly
My "cele's" were put in 25 yrs. ago (can it be that long). I did not need the cystocele and it made me incontinent. I was going in for a rectocele and the Dr. talked me into having the bladder lift. Now I wear a maxi pad daily and just let it trickle. If you truly have a prolapsed bladder then you probably need the cystocele. Lots of better surgeries now days. If the pessaries help than that shows you need the op. I never was or am now in pain.
