Hope everyone is doing well. In September I went for a diagnostic laparoscopy for endometriosis which was found and removed but the surgeon also said my pelvis was congested and said that’ll be causing me pain too but didn’t suggest anything to do about it? I was out of it when I was told and wish I asked more. Has anyone else had this? Wanting advice as to what to do next. Thanks!

Not had it but I have endometriosis I think he means you have a fixed pelvis which is severe endo you will need physio for this or you will be in a lot of pain your pelvis therefore is full of adhesions from endo.Iwill just add that any more surgery will make this worse so I wouldn't advise more surgery or you will get more scar tissue poor love
I think he might have meant you have pelvic congestion syndrome? A lot of women have this. It causes chronic pelvic pain. It is though to be related to enlarged veins in the pelvis, almost like varicose veins in there if I recall correctly. Google it and see if the symptoms are familiar.
Did you get a discharge note? They are legally required to give you this. It should have noted this. You can also do a patient access request. If you want to message me I can explain how you can do this. You have a right to all this information
Hey Endoscapes, I did get a discharge note. I remember him vividly saying my pelvis was congested and that also will be painful so to my surprise upon reading my discharge note then nothing mentioned on it. I will message you as I think I know what you mean about the patient access request but want to confirm.
