I have been having pelvic pain for months now, defiantly getting worse. Anyway...my question is i have had a pelvic ultrasound last wednesday, which i was told nothing while i was there. My blood tests I assume normal as haven't been told otherwise. I haven't been told my results of the ultrasound but received a letter to say a meeting will be held about my case on thursday. What does it mean?
Thank you.

It will be an MDT ( multidisciplinary team meeting) where various doctors discuss cases, they will probably be looking at your scan results and deciding on any further tests or treatments.
Your tests will be reviewed and discussed and if intervention required they could possibly decide next course of action that would be best for your symptoms. Equally they could say everything was fine and discuss if further tests are needed.
Try not to second-guess what they will say pelvic pain can come from a multitude of conditions with similar symptoms. Hope all goes well and wish you good health.
I have been having pelvic pain and have had scans, ultrasound etc and discovered I have a partly calcified 4 and a half centimetre fibroid possible the cause of pain,,,,
