After a laparoscopy any risk of it building back up

Does endometriosis grow back
If you have your overys still it can grow back.
Definitely!!! I had hysterectomy aged 26 due to severe endometriosis which caused severe menstruation and pain. I was prescribed HRT then and I'm now still taking HRT now aged 58. was advised that although I don't menstruate, due to taking hormones it is highly likely I still have endometriosis, all be it in different areas.
I have had multiple surgeries over the years as had cysts on ovaries, which they tried to "shell out" surgically due to my age, but eventually they had to removed.
With having 13 surgeries I have been left with adhesions on Bowel, bladder, pelvis and abdomen. Also diagnosed with levator-ani syndrome, bladder incontinence, Dysfunctional Bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction.
If I was more informed then about future complications I would have DEFINATELY NOT have had surgical procedures!!!!!! Would advise anyone who was contemplating surgery to think on what could be the future outcome. Not everyone would need surgery for endometriosis symptoms, condition could be managed with meds, I was unlucky to have the condition quite severely.
Apologies for a non favourable post I would advise anyone to get informed and choose what is the best treatment for them.
I’d like to know that as well. I’m 62 and had a laparoscopy which found endometriosis on a ureter!
Gosh ..
