Has anyone successfully treated any of their pelvic floor issues naturally? I'm losing hope in the doctors here in the UK

Seriously can't get any help and I am deeply suffering. I have to act as fast as my health is deteriorating. Let me (and others) know what you did to help treat your situation.

So far I heard Rasberry Leaf can help.

I apologise if there are any typos or foggy explanations; I am in a lot of pain and can't concentrate while typing.

Justapatch.com I have found relief with things that mess with electro magnetic field of our bodies. Also shungite cream. Tumeric tables (at least 1,000mgs a day). I have come a long way from where you are pain wise. Do NOT give up. There is much out there that can help!! My life is now 70% back. I do not come on this forum a lot but if you ever want to talk or need help with treatment ideas please feel free to email me. My name is Jennifer and I live in Arizona, USA. My email is 4mycalanderonandroid@gmail.com

This may not be relevant to your needs but using the NHS app Squeezy has helped me enormously. It's not a quick fix - I really only noticed a proper difference after a year ( !) but so worth it. I'm now in the habit of doing pelvic floor exercises every day at regular intervals, even when watching tv. Lots of luck and don't give up.

Once I realized that my doctor didn't have an answer for me, I started with chiropractors who helped quite a bit and then moved on to a physical therapist who specializes in the pelvic floor. She is doing dry needling and bone adjustment and it is helping me tremendously. I'm fairly certain my issue was sacroiliac joint dysfunction (which I honestly think is probably at least a secondary problem for lots of us on this forum, as people often react to pain in that area by tightening everything up) so what she is doing makes sense for me, but she also does internal exams and such. I am in the US, so her expertise won't help you much, but my advice is keep looking! The big trick is in finding that one expert who actually understands your condition(s)--and that may or may not be conventional medicine.

One would hope that the job of a primary care doctor is to lead you to those who can help, but I've sadly found that is really not the case--you've got to research and find them yourself. It's an overwhelming job when you're in so much pain, but finding the right help will make it worth it!

As Eulalie mentioned, pelvic floor exercises throughout the day can really help. However, for me they were excruciating until I had the dry needling done. That relieved the pain enough that I could start strengthening the area on my own and now if I find myself getting tight or cramping, I can do some of those exercises and get some relief. Happy to share the specific exercises the physical therapist taught me if they are applicable to your situation and you're interested.

Best wishes!

Where is your primary pain? What does it feel like?

I'm in Ohio so the PT probably won't be helpful for you, but I will email you with some details soon about the exercises and such.

As far as the dry needling . . . I understand why some people are reluctant but honestly it doesn't hurt at all and, for me, the relief is immense. If you can find someone who does it, I think it's worth a shot to try the dry needling before botox or having pain relievers injected.

Honest truth--dry needling is super easy and does not hurt. At most I felt some minor zings when she got to where she needed to be. For comparison, for me it's way less painful than the exercises AND makes the exercises easier to do. I actually find it rather pleasant. Now, I am not needle-phobic at all, and it does help if you can relax, but I am so impressed with how much dry needling helps me.

Are you kidding me? I’ve used Compounded 10 mg. Valium and 1% Lidocaine vaginal suppositories for 10 years....I’d be dead from severe sleep deprivation without them.

You need to write or call your Senator or local government official(s) and explain that you aren’t being medically taken care of! You are being neglected.
