My urine changed about a year ago out of the blue then I noticed it had become foamy...:No other symptoms at all.... about 1 month ago I had strep throat and had to take antibiotics then I noticed the foamy/smelly urine was gone.. stayed gone throughout the course of antibiotics... now both are back...

Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated 🙏

Foamy smelly urine not good

Best get kidneys checked out and get any recurring infection treated

You likely have had a chronic urinary infection and need a urine culture and a course of antibiotics for that infection. Since you have had the urinary symptoms for so long they will check to make sure the kidneys are not involved. Sounds like maybe you took either an ineffective antibiotic for the strep throat or needed it for a few more days. Get make to the doctor and report all your symptoms.

If you have foamy urine it means you can have a fistula which needs to be taken care of asap. A fistula is where there is an area of colon/large intestine that is adhered to your bladder and bacteria from the intestine is getting into your bladder by a small hole or rip. My husband had it. If you start running a temp go to the ER as this can cause sepsis
