I have had right hip pain for about 3 months, I can't sleep on either side, only on my back, which I have suffered for years from lower back pain. When I wake in the morning, it hurts to get out of bed and I shuffle around like an old lady, I'm only 46, not a spring chicken but not passed my sell by date yet. However, recently I have been suffering from pelvic area pain. It's like a constant dull ache, feels like there is pressure on it and sometimes, dependent on the way I move it feels like something is moving around. This also sometime radiates to my groin. It also is painful to have intercourse, so much so I can't carry on. I had an internal scan and bloods done, and they were all clear.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you for any help.

That sounds exactly like what I have. Very frustrating, I know. I can’t lay on either side and must sleep on my back. I have pain on my left and right groin areas and when I stand or walk for a period of time it hurts all the way across my lower abdomen, like a very heavy feeling. I have had multiple tests done all with clear results. I finally discovered a pelvic physical therapist who has shown me that it may be due in part to fascia, which is a tissue that runs throughout your body , (and does not show up on tests) getting tangled up with other tissue, including scar tissue, and muscles. I have been going to therapy for eight weeks and it makes a difference. It’s not an overnight fix by any means, but when she does different massages and stretches on my abdominal area and inside my pelvic area, it feels great. I have gone as long as 10 days without pain and just finished walking through the store for about 90 minutes before I had to sit down. That’s a vast improvement from the 10 minutes I was able to do before. I have researched it and learned quite a bit and I believe this is the reason. I’ve also noticed I have a lower back pain which she has shown me is related to the fascia restriction in my back. I have started therapy there and that too has made a difference. The treatment is not necessarily fun, she uses suction cups to lift the skin and allow the blood to flow through where it’s currently being trapped. But it’s well worth it. I suggest you see a pelvic physical therapist and explain your situation and see if they think fascial restriction could be the problem. I hope this helps. Your symptoms sound very very similar to mine. Wishing you all the best!
