Can you have PID from an unknown bacteria? Last year I used to rub against unclean objects such as grapes, pencils etc and grind on them against a table. In July I had unprotected sex but my partner didn’t go all the way in and it was the first time. Can it be that an unknown bacteria went up to my uterus? I had all the tests done nothing has been showing up

Yes. I was having chronic pelvic pain for two months and I went to 4 different doctors. All of them ruled out PID because my STD tests and swabs came back negative every time. Then on my 5th visit she finally treated me for PID with an antibiotic shot + 2 weeks of antibiotic and the pain is going away.

How are you doing? If you think you have PID and the doctors are not listening, don’t give up!! Go to a different doctor. I still don’t know what caused mine because every test result was negative and I did them literally 4 times.

I’m almost positive I have PID and it’s ruining and has ruined my life. I lay in bed depressed and crying most days bc my pain is so bad. No doctors will listen bc I don’t have any STIs and all labs come back normal but I have bacteria vaginosis for years now that keeps reappearing.. can you describe your symptoms? And also what made them finally diagnose you with PID? Did the treatment help?
