Hi I am looking for advice, I had an emergency c section 6 and a half yrs ago, since then I have had pretty bad pelvic pain, initially they went down pid route and had various tests for sti’s 😡 then eventually endometriosis, which I do have but according to specialist mildly, I have had various treatments for this and saw a specialist who now thinks it’s chronic pelvic nerve damage/hypersensitivity and has referred me to pain management, has anyone else had this, it’s not like a little bit of pain, before I was diagnosed with endometriosis I ended up in A&E several times with bad pain, and now I just have stronger pain killers at home I also have bowel and bladder pain and irritation, I just want to have a normal life and get on, if there is anything that anyone could suggest that I could do to help myself I would really appreciate it as there is a long wait to see the pain management people 😔

Hi Joules83
I’m so sorry you are dealing with so much pain. I don’t have pelvic pain but rectal pain. It really doesn’t matter where the pain is that is the issue. I totally understand what you deal with daily and can empathize the struggle to live a normal life. I wish I had a magic pill to take away your pain. It just isn’t fair. I can be hear for you if you should ever need to talk, cry, vent or anything else. Friends can be a great resource. Please consider me your friend. Nancy
I have terrible pelvic pain from adhesions from operations and endo. Also have sciatic nerve damage and rheumatoid arthritis. My pelvis is agony. Has been since pregnant with my daughter. I’m waiting for pain clinic too xx
I’m so sorry you’re suffering. I highly recommend the book Headache in the Pelvis for advice on recovering from this painful condition.
I pray that you have a proper nerve block performed IF you believe you have neuralgia. Can you stand pain free? When you sit is it impossible? What dies your pain feel like? A rock in your rectum? Electric shocks? Burning heat? Throbbing? Are you losing urine or stool yet?
Has a physiotherapist even able to do internal work and tell you which nerves may have been caught up in your C-section scar? Keep us informed. I reall6 feel for you. Life goes on and we wither waiting for proper treatment. You have to ge you4 own advocate. It is so hard when you are in 24/7 pain and exhausted.
There are times that I can’t stand up, normally when washing up just get stabbing in my pelvis and lower back, I can find it uncomfortable sitting and the longer I sit for the worse it gets, lying slightly on my side with a pillow between my legs is a good position, I have a little leakage from bowel and bladder, pain is mostly random stabby and burning pain in pelvis lower back hips thighs Also up my bum and vagina, I’ll get random patches of numbness in my feet and sometime on my vagina, and have a patch about the size of a tennis ball on my tummy that is still numb 😔 xx
Thank you so much for your responses x
