Worth a try if the provider can locate a target. At the least, might be diagnostic if it doesn't work.

I had a lidocaine infusion two weeks ago. Unfortunately it didn't work at all for me but everyone is different. The infusion took 30 minutes. My tongue and lips were tingly and my eyes went a little blurry during the infusion. I felt waves of a calming sensation throughout my body periodically during the infusion. After it was done I was a little dizzy but all side effects were gone within 20 minutes. If it is going to work you should get pain relief during the infusion itself and it can last for minutes, hours or weeks. Even when I felt the calm waves throughout my body I still had the pelvic pain. One more thing to cross of the list of options for me but hopefully it will work great for you.

Hi Lindle needed hysterectomy had my left ovarie due to fibroids said it would be ok after that! Then 3,years later still in chronic pain they found out i had a big sis on my ovarie. that was 40, years ago never had endometriosis! Last year had my Addison separated at Brighton Sussex Hospital my dr told me that i had so many inside my tummy it looked like a glue pot. Hoping and praying this was going to set me free from this pain that has taken my life away. But was not really convinced as this was the same pain that i have always had!! it seemed to me that now i was suffering due to all my surgery!

my infusion went well lovely new clinic great nurses no side-fect just felt lovely and chilled out. Have felt alittle bit better not so much pain. went shopping, yesterday last time i went shopping i was in bed for 2,day with pain. but today i am setting hear at the laptop. I i am not going to get to excited as its to early the Dr said it is not a quick fix works over a longer time. Hope this helps what's yr story Lindle p.s sorry about my spelling!

Hi well my infusion did not last long 3,weeks at the most. when i went back to pain clinic they said that i had over done it. Did they think that i was going to sit and do nothing. I had no pain!!! They have suggested that I have another infusion in October and would like me to go on a 7.week course on coping and managing my pain! I am not sure as i would have to travel to London ever week and as i don't have the money for that! So i am back living in my torment with not so many good days than bad.
