Hi Jess,

Great to hear you have been doing so well. It maybe your body’s way of reminding you that you aren’t fully recovered Judy yet. Have you spoken to your surgeon or rang the ward/day unit for advice? As a last resort you could ring your GP or go into a walk in centre. If you need to take extra time off to recover then it might be the best for you as we all recover at different rates. I know it always takes me longer to recover than what’s advised and so do my surgeons. I also usually add on an extra couple of weeks. Please let us know how you get on.

Come to think of it where I have had my laparoscopic surgeries I have a hard spot underneath my belly button which is painless. I think for me it might be scar tissue as I’ve had 3 surgeries there.

I think since I start work Monday I’m gonna give it sometime and if I don’t notice any progress or anything gets worse then I’ll worry I know with mesh and hernias you have to be careful and I was just jumping and dancing around
