Pelvic pain worse at night

Hi. My name is Jackie and I am 42 years old. I have always had regular periods and for the past week I am experiencing a dull ache with more intense pain at night when laying down in my left lower pelvic area. The pain started about a week before my period started.

Any chance this could be a cyst?

Hi Jackie yes it could well be a cyst. I experienced pain you would never believe am sure my eggs would get stuck in the tubes every month. I am now 49 have come out the other side of the menopause now and all that pain has gone. Such a relief. If you are worried your GP can arrange an ultrasound scan for you.
