Can chlamydia cause infertility after 3 month

I have recently found I had chlamydia and was infected for around 3 months and the health care professional never mentioned about the further risks, since then I have had no symptoms or pain, Is there a chance I could have PID or is there a chance I can become infertile?

Usually with PID you experience sysmptoms such as pelvic pain almost like a dull ache in your pelvic area and little bit lil period pain but without the period! Maybe go back and speak to your doctor if you develop any pain in your pelvic area or if your really concerned! As long as you’ve had the treatment for the chlamydia and have no symptoms you should be okay! x

A vaginal ultrasound exam at the gynaecologist would show if your fallopian tubes became damaged because of chlamydia.
