Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately I have had to restrict this user and also turn off posting replies/questions. We have no guarantee this person is a genuine doctor as mysteriously they haven’t provided their name -does this not immediately raise suspicion with anyone? It has with a number of people and immediately raised concern and alarm with myself. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to deal with this myself yesterday as I have recently had surgery and been dealing with a number of complications as a result. In this community and those that are part of other communities will know that us admins want to keep you all safe from harm which means protecting you against ‘rogue’ posters. In these groups we reveal a lot of personal information about ourselves and our bodies, some of which we might not even mention to our own doctors. I am unfortunately going to have to delete all replies as I don’t want your personal information here for him/her to see. I don’t have the ability to remove this individual from HU which has to be done centrally, but I will be reporting them for HU to look into and asking other admins if they’ve experienced this individual posing as a doctor of any speciality in their group. If anyone has replied to him via private message and is concerned please contact me as we are here to support you and there is no judgement at all. We are all human and desperate to have answers which unfortunately the medical profession doesn’t always have - a source of frustration with many of us! As always please feel free to contact me with any concerns
