Concern over a doctor recommended a week or so.

Hi Everyone.

I joined HU in September but I have not posted until now, although I have made a couple of replies. I do not want to escalate any comments I made but I am concerned about the recommendation made by a post about a doctor in US who practices stem cell therapy. I do not want to put this forum in a difficult situation regarding possible lawsuits but when I consulted Mr Google about this doctor there were quite a few negative reviews and there were suggestions that this doctor was being sued for malpractice. I would like to point out that the doctor does do cosmetic surgery as well and the negative reviews seem to be about the work he does in this field.

I am not trying to put anyone off consulting with this doctor but I know from my own experiences that when conventional medicine does not work it is very easy to put your faith in new, unproven treatments. Please do not think I am trying to put anyone off seeking alternative therapy but I would just advise you to research fully.

I was not certain how to contact a moderator privately to see if I could post this so I will fully understand if my post is withdrawn but that may mean that indirect advertising can occur.

Sorry if I have offended anyone, that was not my intention,

Sioban

Hi Sioban

It's absolutely fine to raise concerns in here and we appreciate it. We are looking into this matter on here ourselves. If others have any concerns about anything and you feel unable to post on here or aren't sure if it is suitable we are more than happy to accept messages privately and will advise further. I hope this helps
