I was set on going to one doctor but learned he's not the right one. Now I'm trying to decide who the best doctor is to do this? I'm really in bad shape and if I get worse it will be the end of me.
Also - pain makes me nauseous. Has anyone else had that?

I'm sure you'll find some help and answers to some of your questions if you look at "related posts" and/or use the search function here on the site. Just a few days ago there was quite a long conversation about pros and cons of decompression surgery here on the site with some very detailed information. I hope this is helpful.
I'm on east coast. I heard Hibner left St. Joes. I was thinking of seeing Dr. Castellanos. Do you know of anyone who has had the surgery with him? I like him but don't know of anyone who had the surgery with him.
No, I don't know of anyone who has had the surgery with Dr. Castellanos. He worked with Dr. Hibner so perhaps he's good? Dr. Hibner is opening his own practice but I don't know if it's up and running yet.
I had heard he left St. Joe's. I called and they didn't know where he went they said. I'd like to know if Dr. Castellanos is just as experienced. I can't find anyone who has had surgery with him.
I'm on east coast. I realized the doctor I was going to see is not a pelvic pain specialist. i want to see someone who is skilled in this specific area.
