  • Dear Missey, please appeal the DWP decision - they turn nearly all people down to save money - but you must appeal it . If its ESA, they will pay you while the appeal goes thru, (but they will not pay if its for PIP). i am very much in the same boat as you and i get sooo cross that agonizing pain does not get taken seriously when it comes to the DWP - nor does the side effects of morphine and other meds . I was turned down too and wish i had appealed. For me its the depression that comes with my pain that gets to me the most, I have PCS (Pelvic collapse syndrome) and i keep going for the sake of my kids. Big Hugs my friend xx

  • Thankyou so much for your reply I'm having a mandatory redicison so I have to get a letter off the doctors I wikk appeal and I'm going to appeal with the pip to, its horrible feels like because we have invisible illnesses people don't take us seriously my partner is on ESA and he's my carer how backwards is that , I'm having a good day today will be doing some light shopping and lunch with mum, thankyou for your advice and hope you have as good of a good day you can possibly have keep your chin up my fellow pain warrior :) xx

  • Also the depression really does make it hard its a problem even on its own but lately I feel I'm slowly coming out of it keep pushing keep fighting because you will get there do you get anxiety too? Xx

  • I am sorry for your pain. Have you asked about tight pelvic muscles? Love and prayers to you and your family.

  • I haven't but I will research it later thankyou very much x

  • Hi I am so sorry to hear about this. I know so many people this has happened to. Do appeal it. Also make an appointment with citizens advice to get some help and further advice. I do know a lot of people who did get their PIP reinstated on appeal. It makes me so angry to see the way the sickest and most vulnerable are treated in this country.

  • Thankyou I am going to appeal with them and fight for this I felt like my fight had gone but with everyone's support and comments is making me feel stronger and you are right I feel discriminated for having an invisible condition x

  • I have 2 suggestions for you having dealt with pelvic pain for 3 years. I have done lots of research. I am a retired nurse and when younger, taught aerobics for 10 years. "A Headache in the Pelvis" is a great book, written in a very kind matter. The other suggestion would be to research Kratom. It has helped me tremendously.

  • Thankyou very much I'm having a research evening this evening so I will add it to my list and try and find that book I enjoy reading thankyu very much x

  • Hi

I'm in the US but I appealed 3x and after 7 yrs finally got approved!!!!! Pls don't give up. I'm not sure how it works in the UK but here in the US it's money that we paid into the program so it's our money that we have the right and deserve. This is a horrible disease, stay strong.

    Hugs xx
