Rectal pain and sexual arousal

I have been reading a discussion thread on spontaneous rectal pelvic pain upon thinking about sex. There seems to be no diagnosis or treatment but a cohort of people do have this unnamed condition. Are there any physicians in this thread who can help us?

Maybe this is from left field, but any possibility of repressed child abuse history, a type of "body memory" when sexually stimulated?

No, there are no repressed memories.  I have not been abused thank goodness.  I was raised Catholic so I am a bit repressed! At any rate, I had read an entire discussion thread from several other people with the same condition and tried to locate it upon joining.  

This is a real condition and an unmet medical need.  I had typed in rectal/pelvic pain on sexual stimulation.  Folks in the thread spoke of myriad failed treatment included physical therapy, pain blockers and more.  I wish I could find that thread again---any suggestions?

Try looking up pgad on the net. I can't remember exactly what the letters stand for. But it has to do with arousal disorder. Most likely the pudendal nerve is involved. The pudendal nerve goes to our urinary system our intestinal system and our sexual function system. So that is why you could have sexual feelings and have rectal issues at the same time. The same nerve covers these areas. I have pudendal neuralgia and all three areas have been affected in me.

Yes, this is true. I have exactly the same problems. The pudendal nerve can create havoc for us in this area. Wonder why we get sexual arousal and it's not actually our mind, its a real disorder associated with Pudendal nerve issues. It's so crazy. I would never have believed it.
