Left side lower tummy pain, pain in ... - Pelvic Pain Suppo...
Left side lower tummy pain, pain in legs? Nerves or sciatica ? Also rectal pain.
I have a some what similar problem for 5 years. Have never had an operation on my back, but almost 6 years ago, I slipped on a slick spot on driveway and came down right on my left hip. I was a little sore for awhile, but got better and thought I had escaped any damage. Now I wonder. I did have a MRI of lower back and it showed a little inflammations in my left SI joint. Had a steroid injection, this did not help at all. I did 7 months of physical therapy with a specialist in pelvic floor pain. It seemed to help some after she discovered my iliopsoas muscle was very tender. After soft massage for about 15 minutes of this muscle, I was 95 percent better for about 5 days. The following week, she did same massage and only lasted a couple days. I'm pretty convinced this is one of my problems, but lots of tension also makes my pain worse. Do you get up tight and worry about things? Did not intend to write a book, but your pain symptoms sounded so like what mine are and I have literally spend hours and hours on the internet doing research. I have been taking Xanax (.25 mg) at bedtime for about the last 6 months. This has helped more than anything I have found so far. It is a prescription drug, so consult your doctor. Good luck.
Thank you, I had a fall many years ago on ice... U could have a point about that pain. But I've had a bowel operation and its come on since then ...
do you have a problem with your coccyx/pelvis, sounds similar syptoms to pelvic girdle dysfuntion
Yes sure it is part of it. Had this in all my pregnancies. Being sent for an x Ray. Not sure what help that will be? But might pay to see a physio or bone dr
