Period pain/ovaries

Hi this will probably sound like a silly question but I've had my left ovarie removed due to having a cyst now when I have periods I only get really bad pain on my right is it because I've not got a left ovarie or should I still got all over belly pain tia x

I'm not surprised the pain is on the right now that you don't have a left ovary. The right one should be monitored by ultrasound as you don't want to lose that one too !
