Vaginal & rectal prolapse.

I was due to undergo surgery to repair rectal and vaginal prolapse as the rectal is grade 3 and vaginal 2. The rectal prolapse can cause problems evacuating the bowel and since i have a long history of bowel disease this just adds to the problems I get. I was put off and deffered surgery after hearing it isn't always effective and can cause leakage if goes wrong. If anybody reading this has undergone such surgery could you please enlighten me as to your outcome. I'm also about to I indergo having a sacrel nerve stimulator as I have intense pain caused we believe by nerve damage after extension surgery over the years.

Thanks for any advice given.
