I've just requested a copy my a transvaginal scan Which i had done on day 14 of my cycle. this was done because my periods have reduced to just 1 day, very light. they used to be 7-9 days & mega heavy. this change in flow & duration happened after i had a d&c. The scan showed uterus had mixed ecotexture & a fibroid measuring 3.1 x 2.3 x2.6. The fibroid is in the posterior fundal myometrium and indenting the endometrium. Anyone able to translate what this means? Could this cause my swollen tummy, tummy pains & pressure feeling? also worried it might be ovarian cancer?? Or reduce my fertility? X
