Travel Insurance

Hi, I was diagnosed with PBC last year and am on urso, I have no symptoms and keep well and would like to go abroad on holiday this year. Two companies I've tried to get a quote from have refused me , I also have asthma which is really well controlled. Has anybody got any recommendations for cheap travel insurance ?

If you are booked thru a travel agency, do they offer insurance?

It was online travel agents Donna, refused cover

So discriminatory... we can't get life insurance,here in the US anyway, with PBC.

Hi, I have pbc, well controlled asthma & osteoporosis & I had trouble getting travel insurance, but then found (Love it cover it) insurance which were brilliant & not too expensive. Hope this helps

Look at Stay sure, I haven't had an issue with them and their prices are reasonable.Helen

Hi. Husband and are retired and travel often. We both have pre-existing conditions so we purchase within the allotted timeframe to qualify for coverage of preexisting conditions. Most larger insurance companies offer this if you buy travel insurance within 3-5 days of your first trip purchase for the travel period.

Recommend you go check for a free quote from Travelguard or other reputable insurance companies for pre-existing condition coverages.
