Travel insurance for America

I have booked 5 days in New York for December this year and I'm shocked that medical insurance is coming in at £400+ for this single trip if I declare PBC. I have used comparison sites and the cheapest so far is SAGA. Any recommendations?

Have you tried World First or Sainsbury (useful if you have nectar card) there is also

freespirittravelinsurance.c...

I have multi trip insurance with Avanti, though it doesn’t include America, but it was the cheapest I could find. I have previously had travel insurance with World First and Holidaysafe, but again they didn’t cover America. Worth looking though if you haven’t already done so.

Thankyou. Was so surprised that 5 days in USA could cost so much, especially when I answered no to the 5 questions they ask

Have just done the quote with Holiday Safe- although they asked a lot more questions they came back with a quote for £71, so thank you so much for suggesting them! x
