I was diagnosed with PBC last year and ever since have responded well to Urso. At the time of diagnosis, my specialist had recommended that I lose some weight. I have been struggling to lose some weight for a number of years so to date, my efforts have failed.
Any advice or thoughts about Ozempic please? Thanking in advance 😊

I have thought about it too. I was told it is very expensive first of all. There were some interesting points in this article from the FDA. Just beware of it possibly interacting with any other drugs. Loosing weight is so hard! I've struggled with this for many years as well.
I have had PBC for over 15 years as well as diabetes. My A1C was very high and I was overweight. My doctor put me on Ozempic 4 years ago, I’ve lost 40 lbs and my A1C has dropped significantly. I continue to respond well to Urso. Unfortunately there are side effects. One to two days after taking the Ozempic I fight waves of nausea and generally feel pretty bad on top of the nausea I often get from Urso and Metformin. My neighbor takes double the dose of Ozempic I take and has not had any side effects. My wife takes the same dose I take and often vomits the day or two after taking it. Seems it has different impacts on different people. Best to consult your doctor and perhaps give it a try.
