No, I wish in fact Im finding it harder to lose weight and question if this has any bearing on the Ursofalk treatment.

Sorry this is no help at all :-(

Prior to diagnosis, i actually did lose weight, largely because eating made me feel so ill. Once i started Ursodiol, i gained all the weight back and then some! It has been a constant challenge to maintain my current weight, which is too high, and loosing weight has become mission impossible. I was told the initial loss was due to poor nutrient absorption, as well as not really wanting to eat. Is your husband on ursodiol or any other PBC drug? Amt50 is right. According to my doc, the Urso can cause weight gain. But it also allows you to eat again. Bad combination for someone on weight watchers!

ive been very active with gym and training the last few years and was in the best shape of my life! Since starting urso in December I've just put on so much body fat! I'm still not hugely heavy or overweight but I'm finding it really tough to shift the added wobbly bits! So for me personally it defo hasn't made me lose weight!

I'm on urso. At first, I lost 5 lbs without even trying. The doctor said this often happens but that'd be about all I'd lose from if. I gained it back and have been trying to lose it again & some more and it's been slow. I was trying to lose 10 by a beach trip this coming weekend but it looks like it'll 5. Better than nothing I guess.

I lost a lot of weight when a doctor took me off Urso because she didn't know what it was for 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ However it all came back gradually when I was put back onto it. I am now taking it back off again T SlimmingWorld 👍👍

I cannot keep weight on. I've known about my PBC since 2012 But had it for some time before then, I was at stage 2 at diagnosis. But I also have thyroid issues as well. I would exchange with anyone for some weight gain. The question of how I stay so thin, drives me crazy for the most part. I wish I could gain a few pounds so my pants would stay up😂😂.
