Arrived home last afternoon around 3. Laundry and unpacking all done... felt good to be in my own bed though. Had a great little trip to Ozark area of Missouri. That was surely my self care for the week. 🥰

We had a great meal at University of the Ozarks one year on a circuitous route to Florida. It was lovely. For me, it would be trolling in my scow (one my own), for sea bass. Last year I couldn’t do it with a lot of stuff going on in my life, but this year i am back at it!

I saw signs for the U of the Ozarks. I've heard it's a nice place to visit. We really loved Dogwood Canyon. I think we are over going to Silver Dollar City...too much walking up and down hills for us old folks. Share you adventures with us anytime!

We sure did have an adventure!!! A couple of years ago we headed to Branson from New Brunswick (east of Maine). It was the end of October. We did get to go downtown, and to lunch at the U of Ozarks, which was fabulous! The entire place is student run! On day three, they announced a major tornado would be hitting, so we packed up and headed for Florida. We wanted to see some of MO because our goal was to visit every state in the United States (which we did!!).

That was quite a trip for sure! I am not good with those long road trips.... what was your favorite state ?
