alk phos

Hi Donna and group,

I noticed different labs use different ranges for the Alk phos. Some labs use 30 - 120 is normal and some use 44 - 147. So say an Alk phos was 132 at the lower range lab would that number still be 132 at the higher range lab? And would 132 be considered high? Just curious to why there are different ranges and which is the proper standard. Thanks everyone for any feedback.

one of my labs uses 38-126. I think my hepatologist’s lab at the hospital has 117 or 120 for highest normal
