Taking Iron Supplement

A few years ago, after significant blood loss, I was prescribed iron in a hefty dosage and did not observe any side effects. I stopped when I recovered from the blood loss. Keep in mind, however, that excessive iron intake can be dangerous.

I suggest you consult with your medical professional.
