Well people I'm off to see my consultant at st james today to find a new treatment as I had to stop my ursalic acid due to unbearable itching.

Although after being off it 2 months the itch is as unbearable as ever it only stopped for 4 week

Only just picked up this thread. Guessing the powders are Questran or Questran light. I found they were best taken in kefir but before I discovered that I took it in a thick juice like mango and orange. Also the wisdom from The Foundation some years ago was to take on sachet before breakfast and one after . It does take a time to fet into the system. They worked in part for me but I also have rifampicin and sertraline now. Hope it works okay.

Hi I took one in milk last night and it was fine but not felt the benefit as yet the itch is unbearable still
