Hi, just spoke to the consultant and said I would let you know how it went. He basically said the positive ama m2 were nothing to be concerned about as my li er enzymes are normal. I asked him if it was the start of pbc and he said probably not. I am having some repeat bloods done nest week. Just feel confused 😕

I can understand your confusion since a + AMA is so indicative of PBC. I think you are making a good decision to continue having your liver enzymes repeated - maybe done about every 6 months or so. With any rise in your Alk Phos levels I would certainly revisit the chance of having PBC and start on Urso.

Is there any update on this? I have +AMA and am terrified they'll say I have PBC, but feel there may be a chance I don't after reading this. Thanks

Hi AMAgirl , they basically discharged me and said to get Alk phos levels checked every 6 months. There didn't seem to be any concern. Hope this alleviates your worry a little
