Hi all, hope u are well . Today I got my second fibroscan with a CAP score of 212 and scan 28.1. This has went down from 39.5 a few months ago. Ultrasound, spleen and platelets are normal and LFTs now going in right direction thanks to responding to Urso however Iv now been referred to rheumatology due to elevated levels of rheumatoid factor. Has anyone else ever experienced this ? X

PBC and rheumatoid arthritis
Hello I have PBC which was discovered after going initially to rheumatology with aching joints and fatigue.in the end my rheumatology diagnosis was vasculitis and sjogrens.I have at the moment 4 different raised autoimmune antibodies. My rheumatologist and my liver doctor discussed my treatment for the vasculitis infact the treatment for the vasculitis seems to have improved my liver too.My mother has rheumatoid arthritis and I always thought I would get it but no.I hope you get some answers soon.
I have also been referred to a rheumatologist after positive ANA test this week. After 5 years with PBC and normal labs for the past 4 years, I have gone from walking a mile 3x a week to unable to climb stairs in just 6 weeks. Migrating bilateral joint pain has impacted my fingers, hands, wrists, shoulders, knees, and ankles in addition to swelling in hands and feet. Elevated Sjogrens antibodies present when PBC first suspected in 2013. Trying to manage with rest, fluids, and natural diet, but little relief so far. I hope you can get some answers soon. Blessings!
