It is not a huge deal for one day. I imagine that over dosing as a one off ia better than not dosing for a one off.

I do not have any data to support that assertion. It is just a feel thing.

Do try to take your optimal dose each day (13-15mg/Kg/day).

Robert.

I had this happen a few times. So i now have a Monday Tuesday,Wednesday, ....i put my pills in there every Sunday for the following week. If there is ever a question you can open the day and see if the pills are there or not. Never guess any more. Hope this helps!

I have a few different meds to take and I've evolved this method. I line them up on a kitchen shelf at eye-level in the order that I'll take them during the day, I put a little plastic food box on the first one, like a hat. After I have taken the first med, I move the little hat on to the next one to be taken and so on til the end of the day when I shift the hat back to the next day's first med. It sounds complicated but it is the simplest thing. A day- meds-box wouldn't suit me. Some days I don't know what day it is! Someone may like to knit real little hats with numbers 1-10 on them to honour our "know your numbers" theme. :-) Sell them to raise funds...

I too have had to adopt the pill box method as I had a few times where I couldn't remember if I had taken them or not! I found a great one in Tescos (UK) in the funny little section near the lightbulbs that sells all sorts of weird and wonderful things for £1. Two in a pack- one long and one round. Perfect!

I did however manage to not take my evening dose yesterday (I have opted for one tablet in the morning with breakfast and two at night with dinner). So now I'm a bit worried as to what effect that will have ... especially as I have been so good taking them for 6 months and my first consultant check-up since my diagnosis is next week. So I'm off to get bloods taken early next week. Grrrrr!
