Urso is not an over the counter med. Your doctor has to prescribe it. Since it is gall bladder related may be best to have a Gastroenterologist prescribe & monitor for you.

Ursodiol works great to dissolve some gallstones. But I dont have insurance and I was forced to buy my Urso (ursodeoxycholic acid) without insurance which is challenging to say the least.

I’ve got great results with tilliginm.net/go/Gallstones 👍 (promo code "GET10" to get 10% off) I give them 5 stars 😉 for cheap price and fast delivery.

Hi Ballymahon

I don't think I have one of those, I only met my consultant and his register for the first time last Monday

I'm.suffering 6 years with this and my old gp kept telling me it was an ulcer until I had a few camera tests done and the last test was ultrasound that found the gallstones

I have multiple small gallstones but I can't eat anything whatsoever without being in pain and couple times a week I vomit considerated bile and I get a high fever that surpasses after 12/24hours so they're talking about a February date for gallbladder removal but I've never had surgery and I'm terrified and full if fear fear going under general anaesthetic I don't think I'll be mentally able to go through with it

Hi jaydublin, I don't know if this is any help but my friend recently had gall bladder surgically removed, keyhole surgery, day patient. She had been nervous but the incapacitating pain of gallstones randomly and after eating was making life very difficult for her. She recovered so quickly at home, back doing most that she ever did, and at the age of 68. Many people say the same.

Maybe you can talk through your fears to your doctor so that you can at least think again about surgery. Also, patient information leaflet in URSO says plainly that is does not dissolve actual stones. Unless the stones are removed surgically you will continue with pain. I'm sorry it isn't the answer you wanted and I wish you well.

Don't know if you can get this in Dublin, but I use an herbal tincture called

STONE BREAKER that works well on dissolving stones. Not sure if URSO would dissolve stones anyway

Did you have multiple cholesterol gallstones? Did it remove them all if you have had them?

Never told what kind of stone they were. Just know that I used it 2x's day for a month. Next diagnosis showed 0 stones.

They had to of been cholesterol because pigment stones can't devolve without ether and that's no longer in use but it rapidly dissolves gallstones although it can give a extreme burning sensation so they banned It

Urso has aided in dissolving small cholesterol stones in some people and can take up to 2 years or longer for it to work but it does help greatly with full diet change that cuts out fats, sugar, fizzy drinks and go on water, Apple cider cinder, ginger, turmeric, raw lemon & lime juice

I have a friend who had a couple of stones and one in bile duct and over 3 years doing all above completely dissolved and no recurring stones because she kept to food&lifestyle changes

Yeah ok well you shouldn't be giving people wrong information as it doesn't help with gallstones at all so please do not reply to any more queries I may have

All I can do is share my experience. what you do with the information and your research is up to you. There is never a need to be short or nasty to another on this forum

Also...just googled Stone Breaker again, and YES...it is for both kidney and gallstones. Do your research

Jay. If you are after accurate advice talk to medical professionals, not an internet chat group about a different condition than the one that they are suffering from. Or else don’t get huffy with people!

The Urso leaflet says it can be taken for stones. I think itb was orginally for stones.

Hi, 3 days ago, i made an ultrasound. And result: 2 Gallstones. Both of them 5,5 milimetres.( 0.216 inches )

Also 4 milimetres some(0.157 inches) (2 or 3 pieces ) colestrol cristals.

I went to 3 doctors. 2 of them (General surgeon) said, laparoscopic surgery. Other one (Internal medicine specialist), he is also my close friend, said, you use try ursodoil. I am 31 years old, male, not obez or not thin. Also i dont have any pain, ultrasound was for just check other side of my body ( all things good, beside Gallstones)

Should i try this medicine? Or surgery?

I am confused, because very little Gallstones can stuck and make bigger problems. For example my Gallstones are 5.5 milimetres, and when i use this medicine. They can become smaller and stuck?

I hope, we all get well soon. Also sorry for my bad English.
